Password Security

Your password is the first line of defense for your StreamPrime account. Follow these guidelines to create and maintain a secure password:

  • Use at least 8 characters in length
  • Include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Add numbers and special characters
  • Avoid using personal information (birthdays, names, etc.)
  • Never reuse passwords from other websites

We recommend using a password manager to generate and store strong, unique passwords for all your accounts.

Updating Your Password

Regularly updating your password helps maintain account security. To change your password:

  1. Log in to your StreamPrime account
  2. Go to Profile > Settings
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Create and confirm your new password
  5. Click "Save Changes" to update

Secure Login Settings

Enhance your account security with these login settings:

Session Management

  • Your account automatically logs out after extended inactivity
  • You can view and manage active sessions from your Profile settings
  • Log out from all devices if you suspect unauthorized access

Login Notifications

  • You'll receive email alerts for new device logins
  • Check login location and device information
  • Report suspicious activity immediately

Protecting Your Account

Best Practices

  • Never share your login credentials
  • Use a secure internet connection when streaming
  • Keep your email address up to date for security notifications
  • Regularly review your account activity

Device Security

  • Keep your devices and apps updated
  • Use antivirus software on your devices
  • Enable device-level security features (fingerprint, face ID, etc.)
  • Never install StreamPrime apps from unofficial sources

Account Recovery

If you can't access your account:

  1. Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen
  2. Enter your account email address
  3. Follow the reset instructions sent to your email
  4. Create a new secure password

Keep your recovery email address up to date to ensure you can always regain access to your account.

Reporting Security Issues

If you notice suspicious activity:

  • Change your password immediately
  • Contact our support team through live chat in your Profile
  • Send details to our security team: corp-app@streamprime.co.uk
  • Review your viewing history for unauthorized access
