Who is the Pope? (2014)

Pope, Vicar of Christ, Successor of St. Peter, Bishop of Rome, Patriarch of the West, and Monarch of Vatican City: these are the titles of the man most people simply know as the Pope. But what do all these titles mean? In this lecture we explore the intricacies of the government of the Catholic Church and Vatican City and trace the origins of the powers of the man we call "The Pope."
