Cecília, a successful young model, returns to Recife, her hometown, to spend Christmas with her mother. One night, a neighbour she hadn’t seen for a long time, João, shows her a bottle with a mysterious and intoxicating green substance. Cecília begins to fall in love with João, but also discovers he is involved in a secret cult around the figure of Salomé, the luxurious biblical princess.
The original Canal Brasil series is based on chronicles by writer Xico Sá. The focus is on modern relationships, taking as a starting point the love misadventures of journalist Quincas.
Aoruaura is the nickname assumed by the young artist born in Recife, who explores the procedural conditions of being alive through artistic languages. Always questioning the human condition and exploring the mutability of the body, she develops works in performance and photography. She locates herself in the Anthropocene in decline and creates, in conditions of chaos, a new possible body-image of life.
