Carrie Davis was part of the child removal system near the end of the Sixties Scoop. With guidance from her uncle Emmett Sack and the community, Carrie reconnects to their land, language, and culture.
Carrie Davis is a Moose Cree, Wiikwemikoong Anishinaabe filmmaker. They are attending Toronto Metropolitan University for the MFA in Documentary Media program with an interest in film. The current project Carrie is working on is about the reconnection to land, language, and culture after being removed from their community, Moose Factory, during the end of the 60s Scoop.
