It's Halloween at WKIZ when the malicious Mistress of Midnight arrives to host her annual horror movie marathon 'Dead by Midnight'. When the WKIZ staff begins disappearing only to turn up in the increasingly darker films, it's up to line producer Candice Spelling to stop the Mistress of Midnight before her final and most diabolical film goes to air.
The boundaries between military discipline and human desire are tested on a U.S. Army base that houses an elite unit of helicopter pilots trained to perform clandestine international and domestic missions. The drama unfolds in the present as well as in flashbacks to a failed mission involving one of the first female pilots in the unit, ultimately uncovering layers of personal and government/military secrets and leading to a season-long plan to rescue a group of MIA soldiers.
Born and raised in Harlem New York, Dajour Ashwood graduated from the same high school as Calvin Klein, Marc Jacob, and Mobb Deep (Art & Design). He grew up with actors Bokeem Woodbine and Mekhi Phifer. Dajour is known for his work in Barry Jenkins' Underground Railroad TV Series, FX's Valor TV Series, and NBC Found TV Series. Ashwood has also written, directed, and produced several shows of his own. His most recent is a Sci-Fi called "PressuRx," which is streaming on Amazon Prime and Tubi. Outside of acting, Dajour is an award winning public speaker, savvy film editor, and accountant.
