An East Indian man served 20 years in prison for standing up to racism. Upon his release, while attempting to reconcile with his son, he realizes the world has not changed. Dayton has been dealing with the same hate and discrimination from a local group of boxers. As he attempts to rebuild his relationship with his son, they must decide if fighting is the only option.
Dalj Brar was born in India, raised in Kitimat, British Columbia and lives in Vancouver. Dalj earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and learned his acting craft from School Creative in BC. Dalj is an actor, writer, director and producer, and has appeared in over 30 productions as an actor. He has written and directed 3 short films, produced 11 films, 2 of which are features. He is a Leo Nominated Best Lead Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in Dil Rakh: Gloves of Kin. Dalj also wrote the story, directed and produced Dil Rakh.
