In the polarized and violent Medellín (Colombia's 'City of Eternal Spring') of the 1970s, doctor Héctor Abad Gómez is concerned about both his children and children from less favored classes. After a devastating loss in the family, Héctor gives himself to the greater cause of public health programs for the poor in Medellín to the consternation of the city's authorities.

Her second movie, The smiling Lombana, was the opener of the FICCI 2018. She has been the director of the short films “Das ist kunst” (2016) and “Our Father” (2015) and producer of the documentary “Corte de hombre” (2017) directed by Manuel Villa. In 2018, she founded with Laura Mora, Mirlanda Torres, Pablo Mora and Manuela Villa the production company La Selva Cine; at this same year she won the FDC´s grant for short film production to make her most recent work “La Cama”.
