Crime profiler Fong Yat-chun receives a bizarre distress call, and the caller is astonishingly from the future. They predict brutal murders are going to take place! Yat-chun teams up with female detective Ying Ho-lam and forensics assistant Chong Ding-kan to prevent the deadly incidents from happening. But the perpetrator gets a head start and commits crime. Yat-chun eventually ascertains the caller’s true identity. He also finds out Ho-lam is going to get into trouble. And Yat-chun knows his destiny as well. However, Yat-chun loses contact with the caller from the future. The perpetrator is getting closer and closer to them! The death clock begins to count down. Successive homicides that are difficult to crack take place. Yat-chun has to race against time as he wants to change the future by tracking down the perpetrator as soon as possible.
Ching Ka-ying and Koo Ching-king are lovers and Chinese medicine graduates. Ching-king chooses to continue with his medical studies, causing the couple to end their relationship. Ten years later, the duo run into each other again. Ka-ying has become a public Chinese medicine center service supervisor. Even though the duo often quarrel due to their different beliefs, they are benevolent medical practitioners hoping to use their medical knowledge and experience to help patients. Despite the fact that there are many restrictions placed on CM practitioners in the health care system, they jointly oversee a contingent of novice CM practitioners, including Lo Yuen-chi, Yuen Si-si, Tong Siu-kwong and Pang Ching-mong. Together they create what they regard as the ideal Chinese medicine center and boldly go down the road to benevolence.
Gary Chan Ga-Fai (陳嘉輝) is a Hong Kong actor born in 1973. He graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute and worked as a project supervisor in the Government Engineering Development Department. A year later, he filmed a cell phone ad. In September 1986, was recruited by TVB. At the beginning of his television career, he was the host of the children's program 430 Space Shuttle (430穿梭機). In 1988, he was casted as the male lead in the comedy Everybody's Somebody's Favourite (都市方程式). After living in Malaysia, working in China and Taiwan, and working for ATV in Hong Kong, he went back to TVB in 2014.
