Martín (Iván Sánchez) hurries to Mina Escondida after getting an urgent letter from his brother begging to be rescued from the hell in which he's living. On arrival, Martin despairs upon finding out that Demetrio (Pablo Montero), his brother, has committed suicide. It is a remake of the 2007–2008 Colombian telenovela by RCN Pura Sangre, which starred Rafael Novoa, Marcela Mar and Kathy Saenz in the antagonic role.
The story follows the life of Diana, a pre-teen who lives in a neighborhood called Buenaventura.
