The film explores the “acute suffering” and transcendent glory experienced by current and former members of King Crimson, allowing the audience an intimate and sometimes uncomfortable insight into the musicians’ experience as they confront life and death head on in the world’s most demanding rock band.
Ian McDonald (born 25 June 1946) is an English multi-instrumental musician, best known as a founding member of progressive rock band King Crimson, formed in 1969, and of the band Foreigner in 1976. He is well known as a rock session musician, predominantly as a saxophonist. McDonald plays keyboards, flute, vibraphone and guitar.
