Wang Zi Hao, a Chinese Primary 6 student from Shanghai, China residing in Singapore, faces academic pressure when his new classmate Jayden Lee Jun Wei frames him for cheating to maintain his top-ranking status. Meanwhile, Zi Hao's Mother, Wen Ting, is falsely accused of illegal work by Jayden's competitive mother, Sophia. Amidst the turmoil, the two mothers realise the toll on their sons and unite to prioritise their well-being over grades, fostering reconciliation.
Mao Shan (Jack Neo) is an ambitious durian farmer who wishes to expand his sales overseas, against pressures from the “Three Heavenly Kings” of the business. He helps Mei Lian (Yeo Yann Yann), his neighbour and sole supporter, to improve her durian farm harvests, and develops feelings for her in the process. However, Mei Lian’s long-separated husband, Jin Shui (Mark Lee), returns, complicating things. Jin Shui tries to influence Mei Lian’s children against Mao Shan, as Mao Shan fights to save both their businesses and win Mei Lian’s heart.

He continued to receive many other awards such as the local 'Top 10 Special Achievement Awards' from the Special Achievement in the Arts Award, and also the Best Actor and 'The Most Popular Singapore Movie' awards by Malaysia Golden Wau Awards in 2013. Neo's films have participated in various film festivals around the world. In Singapore, some of his films have topped the yearly box office for domestic films . His most successful movie, Ah Boys to Men, broke several box office records in Singapore and became the highest-grossing movie within a short span of five weeks. Its sequel, Ah Boys to Men 2, broke the box office record yet again.
