James hails from Long Island, NY. He received his BFA in acting from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. Since graduating he has worked in a number of TV, film, and theatre productions. He appeared on Law & Order: SVU, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Poker Face, and the new FX series Dying For Sex. Across the pond he was in productions of As You Like It and Julius Caesar at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. He played the role of Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, at The Flynn Space in Burlington, Vermont to great reviews. Most recently he developed, produced, and starred in an original short film Egg that won the Audience Favorite Award at the Lower East Side Film Festival.
