Jiro Shirasaki (Shirasaki Jirō, born in 1939), is a Japanese special effects art director and modeler. His first film was Toho's "Mothra" (1961), where he worked as an assistant. He would continue as a special effects assistant art director (frequently under Yasuyuki Inoue) until the studio's twelfth Godzilla film, "Godzilla vs. Gigan" (1972), also modeling and refurbishing the King Ghidorah suit.
