Kang Daniel (๊ฐ๋ค๋์) is a South Korean singer born on December 10, 1996 in Busan. He was born as Kang Eui-geon (๊ฐ์๊ฑด), but legally changed his name due to his family and relatives having difficulty pronouncing his birth name. In 2017, he was a contestant on the second season of Produce 101 (ํ๋ก๋์ค 101) and joined the boy band Wanna One (์๋์). Prior to appearing on Produce 101, Daniel appeared on Her Secret Weapon as a backup dancer for Fiestar's Cao Lu during her performance of "Invitation" by Uhm Jung-hwa.
