Biography

Karina Michel is a talented British-American actress and PGA film producer who has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. With a passion for acting, she embarked on her journey at a young age, honing her skills and gaining experience. Additionally, Karina ventured into the world of modeling during her high school years, working with prestigious agencies such as The Ford Agency and Otto Models in New York and Los Angeles. In Los Angeles she worked on TV/Film including Dexter, Entourage, CSI NY and Transformers 2. As her career progressed, Karina expanded her creative endeavors to include writing and producing content for both television networks and feature films. She has garnered recognition for her work in producing impactful documentaries and features in both the United States and the United Kingdom. These projects often tackle important social issues, aiming to promote social change, destigmatize mental health, and celebrate the arts and music. One notable achievement in Karina's career was her role as an executive producer on "Little Miss Sumo," a film directed by Matt Kay. This film received critical acclaim, winning the Best UK Film award and being recognized as one of Forbes' Top Five Short Films to see at Tribeca 2019. Additionally, Karina was involved in the production of "Queens," which was nominated for the prestigious Iris Prize for Best of British Film. Beyond her work in film production, Karina is also an accomplished writer and syndicated columnist.
