An exploration of the cinematic history of the folk horror, from its beginnings in the UK in the late sixties; through its proliferation on British television in the seventies and its many manifestations, culturally specific, in other countries; to its resurgence in the last decade.
Katrin Gebbe is a German film director and screenwriter. Her feature film début ″Nothing Bad Can Happen/Tore tanzt" (2013) tells the story of a Hamburg Jesus Freak. The film received an invitation from the Un Certain Regard section at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
