After an exciting summer as a vacation worker in a hotel, life tends to run more normally. Tom continues to tinker with his inventions, Anna is training to be a photographer and Liv is eager but willful to pursue a career as an actress. But one day, a strangely dressed girl named Sandra shows up at Tom's door. It quickly turns out that the girl in the pink petticoat has traveled to the present with the time machine from Hotel 13. However, her appearance changes the past and with it the present and future. Tom, Anna and Liv must travel back in time with Sandra to keep the world from falling apart. Not only is Sandra's future with the movie star David at stake, but also the friendship of Tom, Anna and Liv.
On her 18th birthday, Constanze encounters a highly guarded secret. She discovers in amazement that she has six brothers, who have been transformed into snow-white swans by a careless word from their father on the day of Constanze's birth. Constanze is stunned when suddenly the six swans appear. They explain to her sister that only she alone can curse the curse: for six years Constanze could not speak a single word and has to sew shirts made of stinging nettles. The shirts will be able to turn the swans back into people.

Anna and Liv help him with this. There they find a passage to a dusty room with a strange mechanical device. This turns out to be a time machine with which they can go back in time. But if they change something in the past, the future can be changed with it. Jack and Mr. Leopold are constantly on their heels and they want to find room 13 too.

Under the watchful eye of photographer Max, the successful guidebook author and advertising figure of appliance manufacturer Timmermann is to open up the Spanish market for the family business with her campaign, which will culminate in a major press conference. What neither Mr. Timmermann nor Mona's publisher know: The "do it yourself" woman can't even screw in a light bulb properly. Wallpapering, painting or sanding wooden floorboards are bohemian villages for Mona. Now the misery is great, and Mona tries to hide her little to non-existent manual skills - and not just from the team of craftsmen hired by her boss and led by Lars.
