Biography

Priyadarshini Rajkumar is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil film and television industry. She made her acting debut in the Tamil television serial Premi, directed by K. Balachander. She is also a social worker and is Secretary of the Saraswathi Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust which organized various educational, and charitable activities for underprivileged women and children. Priyadarshini Rajkumar was born on 26th April in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She attended The School KFI, which is located in Chennai and was graduated from Government College of Arts and Crafts, Kumbakonam. After completing her degree, she started her career in acting and made her first appearance in Television serial Premi. Later she moved to Australia with her family. In 2015, she made her comeback with the film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, which is directed by Gautam Menon. She looks like a Poornima Bhagyaraj. She then appeared in K.V. Anand’s Kavan, alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Madonna Sebastian, Bose Venkat. Her performance was lauded by the critics and it is one of the Best films of the year 2017. Apart from being an actor, she is a social worker and also organized various charitable activities. Priyadarshini Rajkumar is the main organiser of the Vasant Utsav Festival of dance held at Kapaleeswarar Temple in May each year.
