The incredible story of Raffaele Minichiello, a life punctuated by earthquakes, attacks, wars, personal tragedies and troubles of all sorts, but always under the banner of an irreducible desire to live, or rather, to survive.
Raffaele Minichiello, also known as Ralph (Melito Irpino, 1 November 1949), is an Italian naturalized US soldier. He is considered responsible for the first case of intercontinental plane hijacking and the longest hijacking in the history of civil aviation: over 19 hours from Los Angeles to Rome for a total of almost 11,000 kilometers in the air.
