Ms Chan, a social worker who has just returned to work, receives her first case. She pays a visit to Jia, a single elderly who seems to have accidentally dialled the Care-on-Call Service. Jia has suspicious bruises on his face and Ms. Chan senses a possible family abuse situation. However, Jia’s attitude is unwelcoming and he sends her off right away. One day, she meets and falls in love with Nat, a Thai tourist who she later learns is from a rich family. As their romance becomes popular online, she continues "acting rich", even though her father detests her hypocritical image. But when Nat plans to propose, Wu has no choice but to act like a rich man too for the sake of his daughter's happiness.
Richard Ng Yiu-Hon (17 December 1939 – 9 April 2023), also known as Richard Woo, was a Hong Kong actor known for playing comedic roles, particularly in Hong Kong films of the 1980s and 1990s. Ng appeared in 80 films to date. He was twice nominated for the Best Actor Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards, for his roles in Winners and Sinners and Beyond the Sunset. He worked alongside some of the biggest names in Hong Kong action cinema including Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Andy Lau, and Jet Li.
