At the end of the day, sometimes an old friend and a bowl of ramen are as good as gold. For one Black TV writer, this is just the beginning as she battles grief and ‘pandemmy’ isolation in Little Tokyo while seeking to rekindle her bond with a former BFF.
Rob Chester Smith is an American television actor best known for his roles on All Rise (2019), Modern Family (2009) and Peep Show (2008). After graduating from Northwestern University with an engineering degree in Applied Mathematics, he began studying improv at such proving grounds as Chicago’s IO and Annoyance theaters, where he trained with legends like Del Close and Mick Napier. He continued with improv and comedy performances after arriving in Los Angeles and started appearing in commercials and television. He has since appeared in short films at places like Sundance and Cannes and continues to train at Groundlings and Steppenwolf West.
