Fashionably Late with Stacy London is an American late-night talk and variety show on TLC hosted by Stacy London. As of February 8, 2008, the show no longer appears on TLC's TV show schedule. The show aired weekly on Friday night at 10 pm EST. The show was filmed before a live studio audience and features a wide range of topics such as fashion, relationships, entertainment, celebrity gossip and fashion makeovers. Celebrity guests were also brought on the show to discuss current fashion trends.
Friends and family members nominate a candidate that they consider poorly dressed and ask the show to make over the "fashion victim." Fashion Police Stacy London and her partner ambush the candidate and make them an offer-- they are given a $5000.00 budget for a new wardrobe, which they must purchase in New York City boutiques over the course of two days, but only on the condition that they allow Stacy & her partner to critique, and in most cases throw out, their existing wardrobe.
An American stylist/fashion consultant, author, and magazine editor known primarily for her time as co-host on What Not to Wear, a reality television program that featured wardrobe and appearance makeovers. After graduating from Vassar College, London started her career as a fashion editor at Vogue and transitioned into being a stylist for celebrities and designers. She moved into television by co-hosting What Not to Wear with Clinton Kelly, and doing fashion reporting for Access Hollywood, The Early Show, and the Today Show. From 2009–2010, she was a celebrity spokesperson for Pantene, Woolite, Dr. Scholl's, and Riders by Lee. She co-owns Style for Hire and is the creative director of Westfield Style.
