Known for his performances on screen and stage, he is the winner of numerous awards throughout his career spanning more than six decades, including three APCA Awards, a Guarani Award, a Molière Award, a Brazil Quality Award, and a Press Trophy, in addition to receiving a nomination for a Grande Otelo.
