On television, she is well-known for her roles in series like Sunny Piggy (2000) and The Red (2014). Internationally, she appeared in the Academy Award-winning film The Red Violin (1998). Tao Hong is also married to actor and director Xu Zheng, and the couple has collaborated on several projects.
