About V Nixie is a Los Angeles-based actress who is best known for her work in American Horror Story. She began acting on stage as a child in Juneau, Alaska and continued all the way through college before transitioning to film. V has appeared in numerous sci-fi and horror franchises including the pilot of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Army of the Dead, Monsterland and the critically acclaimed Starz television series Shining Vale. She enjoys the collaborative spirit of filmmaking and has worked with visionary action directors including Zack Snyder and David Leitch. Specializing in embodying the strange and unusual, she loves to add in animal quirks to her characters. She's versed in wearing prosthetics on all parts of her body, as well as full suit performances, and also has easily worn all types of contact lenses. She has worked in wires doing light stunts and has taken several motion capture classes including beginning action stunts. She currently has a personal Contortion Trainer.
