Helene Hegemann is a German writer, actress, singer/songwriter and film director. She is best known for "Axolotl Overkill", published in 2010. A book that put Helene on all the top chatshows and in the arts pages of every German newspapers. At the height of the furore, Hegemann was the focus of a campaign spearheaded by German literary giant Günter Grass to protect writers' intellectual copyright.
