Wai-ching offers explanation to defend Man-kei. She even reinstates him as school team coach. Yik-tseung specifically harvests clams for Chai Mei to taste. Man-shek deliberately eats up all the clams. He then asks Chai Mei to go clam digging together tomorrow. They run into Yik-tseung and Shu-kai on the beach. Man-shek seizes this chance to let Chai Mei understand how Yik-tseung sees her.
