POK points out that the victim could be YUNG WAI. He decides to try one more experiment and asks YUNG for further information of YUNG WAI. SUM cannot extract DNA from the skull for identity verification but will make another attempt with the teeth. SUM tries his best to seek YAU’s forgiveness and finally makes up with her. TING and KONG try to find out how the victim was killed based on the evidence available. POK questions their assumption, which provides them with a new direction for further investigation. The police express doubts about the statements provided by Mr. and Mrs. CHEUNG, the distant relatives of YUNG WAI who put her up during her stay in Hong Kong. They find at the couple’s home a few specks of blood left by YUNG WAI. Mr. and Mrs. CHEUNG are then held in custody.
