LAI appears. He denies that he has ever kidnapped SING. He expresses that he will help them to find SING. MAN is in doubt. He reports to the police on one hand, he follows LAI secretly on the other hand. LAI excuses to help them finding SING, he takes the chance to approach FONG instead. MAN suspects his intention. FONG expresses that she only aims to find SING and there is nothing between LAI and her. MAN is relieved. The relation between FONG and MAN is more stable. SING is sick in the hut.
