Being away on leave from KS Foods prompts Xue Ling to help start-up Adams' new martial arts venture, although her strict business techniques prove to be more of a hindrance than a help to Adam's carefree and relaxed approach. More trouble brews when Adam contemplates accepting Han Xiong's proposal to go into business together. Determined to oust Rachelle from her husband's life, Meera seeks the help of a cold, collected socialite, Nadine. She assures Meera that with her connections, Rachelle will be but a distant memory for the Bhaskar family. Li Yan cannot figure out why the usual chatty and cordial duo of Jay and Suzanne seems to not be on the best of terms, but little does she know that they have a big surprise waiting for her.
