Chou Yung and the others arrive at Shen Yang. Chou Yung seeks Hsiao-tien's good friend Ah Liang for news about Hsiao-tien, and becomes waried of Ah Liang's evasiveness. After Hsiao-tien has fallen from the cliff, he is saved by Hung, a hunter. He has Hung get in touch with Ho so that Ho can seek help from Ah Liang. Ah Liang at that time has already been bribed by Lo Wei. He informed Lo of Ho's coming and the latter has a narrow escape. Hsiao-tien calculates that Wei-lun will make use of Chou Yung to force himself to appear. He has Hung go and find Chou Yung. Hung mistaken Li-hsing to be Chou Yung and takes him home. Li-hsing slaughters Hung and his family. Ho dies too; only Hsiao-tien escapes. Ah Liang sets Chou up in a mine, planning to bomb him and the others……
