In an attempt to make up for the pair, HAU-YAN goes to talk to KONG-SHAN, who flies into a rage slapping her right away, which astonishes WAI-SUM to no end. Hastening back home, CHI-LAM unreservedly admits to KONG-SHAN her love for WAI-SUM, who promptly turns her down, leaving KONG-SHAN no time to digest it. After reserving the tickets of an orchestral concert , CHI-LAM sends a text message invitation to WAI-SUM, who agrees to go. In fact, he just takes the chance to imply that he sees no future with her. Overwhelmed with sorrow, CHI-LAM finally accepts the reality then leaves.
