CHIT drinks LAM’s coffee by mistake during a meeting. LAM does not mind though. What is more, she continues drinking it. Her act surprises everyone. CHIT decides to keep a distance from her. CHIT asks SHUN for advice as to how to decline LAM’s “love” for him in a tactful way. With a view to preventing LAM’s secret from coming to light, SHUN tells him briefly about the romance between his late father, KIN, and LAM. Many years ago, LAM’s father, CHEONG, decided to immigrate overseas suddenly. This came as a big blow to LAM for she had just been accepted by a university.
