After viewing the memorials that impeach CHUEN-KUNG, the Emperor keeps avoiding NAM-TIN, who then transports CHUEN-KUNG and CHEUNG-SING to the palace. Though the Emperor exempts them from the death penalty, they are immediately relieved from their posts. CHEUNG-SING goes to Fa Yim Lau in an attempt to avenge TAO FA's murder, but is defeated by NAM-TIN, who is going to escort MEI-LEUNG to the palace. PAK-NIN goes to the Dragon Gang to arrest and charge the people there for allegedly committing an unlawful assembly and rioting; whereas CHEUNG-SING hopes PAK-NIN can let go of HUNG FUNG. Seeing that CHUEN-KUNG is determined to expose NAM-TIN's plot, CHEUNG-SING tries to persuade CHUEN-KUNG not to sacrifice himself senselessly.
