MING is a chivalrous CID and this brings him trouble. On his wedding day, his wife is shot and dies. He is requested to take care of his brother-in?-law SING. SING is a rebellious youth. For SING's sake, MING always scolds him. As MING misregard SING having attempted a robbery and hurt the victim, he decides to arrest him. KUEN is the witness who accuses SING. As the victim has not regained his consciousness, SING is sent to prison. At last the victim wakes up and tells what has happened. MING knows that he has falsely accused SING and he wants to make compensation. SING knows that MING feels guilty and ignores MING's words. One day, SING comes across KUEN. He is angry as she was the witness. MING comes and saves her. As KUEN has just le-ft her husband, MING and KUEN have similar background and strange feeling appear in their hearts. However they are blocked by KUEN's son and SING. HO is the eldest son of a rich man……
