By chance, YAT-MING overhears HAK-KAN and SHING-HONG's phone conversation, learning that HAK-KAN has started dating KAN KIT. In response to SUET-YIM's query as to the schedule of the play "Hua Mulan", KAN KIT tells her that she has already assigned SAU-FONG to handle the matter. KAN KIT asks KEI CHEUNG for his opinion regarding the new play script "Tuning in the Son", so KEI CHEUNG replies that it will hold greater public appeal if a romantic story line is added to the play. Going out for a date, KAN KIT and HAK-KAN pass by an antique store, where KAN KIT is greatly touched by the story of the owner of an antique hand fan, thinking that they might be able to add that story line to their new play. After HAK-KAN returns to the antique store from the washroom, he finds out that KAN KIT has already left, so he suffers a huge blow.
