SIU-MUI has an accident and she is sent to the hospital. The doctor says that SIU-MUI has a stroke. KA-WAI learns from the neighbours that SIU-MUI was quarreling with TSAU-SANG before the accident and he starts a quarrel with TSAU-SANG about it. KA-WAI asks KA-YIP to help taking care of their mother but KA-YIP passes the job to TSAU-SANG. SIU-MUI spits on TSAU-SANG upon seeing her. TSAU-SANG discovers KA-WAI hanging around with a woman and she believes that KA-WAI has committed adultery based on a number of signs. She asks private detectives CHO-AN and MING to carry out investigation on KA-WAI. KA-WAI goes to his colleague MAY’s home for a drink to air his grievances. CHO-AN reports his findings to TSAU-SANG. TSAU-SANG goes to the salon to question them angrily and KA-WAI goes away with MAY. TSAU-SANG is not feeling well. She goes to see a doctor and discovers that she has been pregnant for 2 months already……
