YI tries to convince CHI that he should not work Tor the corrupted officers but CHI wants to be loyal to the royal family and thus he does not take her words. YI is discontented and leaves angrily. TUNG is informed about the birthday present. He knows that it is valuable. Moreover he wants to take it so as to force CHI to flee again and marry YI. TO knows that TUNG will be defeated by CHI and warns TUNG but TUNG is not convinced. Therefore TO forces him to stay. SUNG CHING owes others much as he has indulged in gambling. He is kidnapped and KONG's wife brings money so as to set him free. However she is attacked by YUEN on her way and her baby cannot come to earth. KOI is discontented with LEUNG who is so corrupted.
