MING asks MAN out and he blames her for not clarifying her relationship with WAI. They then leave unhappily. SIU-MAN resigns at the food shop and the shop owner humiliates her. HONG passes by and he speaks up for her. CHEONG blames SIU-MAN for quitting the job impulsively and SIU-MAN reveals to him that the shop owner is very harsh. YAN lends MING the profits of the shop for she believes that MING is worried because of financial problems. MING rejects her gently. YAN misconceives that MING feels inferior about himself so she reveals the story of the missing KEUNG to him… HONG asks SIU-MAN out and they become lovers eventually. MING reports to CHAI that YAN is not involved in KEUNG’s case but CHAI wants MING to continue investigating Brother GAU. CHOI invites MAN to have dinner at home. MING finds that MAN has returned the love token he sent her. MING reveals his feelings to MAN whole-heartedly……
