PING suddenly disappears and TO is worried. He later finds out from her telegram that she has gone to Tianjin. PING hurries to Tianjin as she has received news that FUNG is there. She stays temporarily in the home of an old servant. MUI stays in Professor SZETO’s home to practice hard. However, she does not make any progress. She is upset as the Professor is not pleased with her performance. MUI’s family visits her and asks her to go home. MUI refuses as she is determined to stay and practice more to become better. PING runs out of money and asks her stepmother MUI CHI to wire her some money. When SAI FUNG learns about this, he blames MUI CHI for spoiling PING.
