ON is home at last. When he sees PO, who has just returned from the hospital for a follow-up in FONG’s company, he realizes FONG has been helping him covering up the truth from PO. SHING’s application for the post for fireman has been successful. He goes to Warehouse to tell YI the good news but LAN grabs his employment letter and announces the goods news in the presence of other customers. SHING tells YI the good news but she leaves in anger. LEI is of the view that YAN should have a surgery as soon as possible. YAN is unwillingly to face the reality though, for fear if anything goes wrong he will become a vegetable and thus a burden to TAN. TAN makes him promise he will never leave her.
