FUNG ignores housekeeper CHAN LAI WAN’s warning and carries on with his investigation. To inhibit FUNG from carrying out further investigation, MAN claims that what he has lost is just a jewelry box for his first girlfriend. But FUNG believes that the case is not as simple as it seems. He and TUNG therefore go to the library to look for some information. FUNG notices the birthmark on NIN’s arm and comes to know that NIN is one of the people in the photo. He tries to find out more facts from NIN, but in vain. FUNG tricks NIN into going into the secret chamber. There NIN finally reveals the truth of what happened in the cloth factory many years ago.
