MING feels so embarrassed when he finds that YEE has already heard his declaration of love. YEE tells MING off for giving SZ confusing signals and keeping her waiting without an answer. She goes on to encourage SZ to show her power, and since then, the girls have become very good friends. MAN has lost a batch of jade stones and owes Boss LAU, the merchant, a great debt. LUNG and MING have no clue as to how to help him. SZ reveals to LAU that YIN is her father, hoping that her intercession would be of help to MING. Sadly, nobody believes her words.
