KAI offers to give MEI over HK$2,000,000 as LAI’s betrothal gifts but MEI refuses to give in. MEI asks for three shop premises from the TONGS and emphasizes that she will not attend LAI’s wedding if her request is not granted. The TONGS and the CHEUKS have got into a serious argument. HAU asks MEI out and brings her to a shop premises owned by the TONGS. HAU would like to give the shop premises to the CHEUKS as LAI’s betrothal gifts, which gives MEI a great thrill.
