LING and KIU manage to subdue the robbers and receive positive recognition from their supervisors. Because of her outstanding performance, LING is chosen to attend an overseas conference on behalf of Hong Kong Police. In the meantime, LING is found to be pregnant. Beset by financial worries and desperate to take part in the international conference, LING decides not to tell her husband KAI-BONG about her pregnancy until a bit later. Midway through the free rice distribution, KIU suddenly suffers a headache and tinnitus while LING starts feeling sick too. KIU and LING are then sent to hospital for treatment. BONG comes to realize that LING has got pregnant and the couple picks a quarrel soon afterwards. NI notices that KIU has become less attentive in class.
