LIK and CHING go to Tienjin for their honeymoon trip. LIK is jealous of KEUNG and CHING tries to flatter him and make him trust her. When CHING knows that LAM has an accident, she returns to Shanghai immediately. LIK worries and is aware that YIU is a hypocrite who eats his words without a second thought. There is a strike organized by students who accuse YIU as the one who kills LIK. YIU organizes workers in the printing factory to strike to work against the students. His work is criticized by other people. YIU is sick. When LIK gets wind that the bank may meet financial difficulties, he makes precautions to overcome them. YIU appreciates LIK's work.
