SUN introduces KWAN to Father ANDREW and Sister MARY, following which KWAN decides to share with the public her experience as a domestic slave. LAN is outraged when she reads the news about KWAN. She gives KWAN a terrible telling-off while MAN tries to intercede for KWAN as best as he can. YIP points out that KWAN has offended a good many of local merchants, but MAN, on the other hand, believes that she has actually done the Hong Kong Government a great favor. YU finds life extremely difficult and tiring now that she can neither speak nor write. After some serious consideration, YAU finally gives in and allows YU to learn sign language from YEE. FONG would like to match SUN up with her niece, with which SUN agrees, although a little reluctantly. YAU has dropped all the desserts on the ground while trying to avoid the gangsters.
