TUNG learns that WAI’s office has been renovated by FUK for a month. FUK has left his mobile phone in WAI’s office. After getting a call for FUK, TUNG and WAI go to visit FUK’s mother-in-law at a private care home for the elderly. There they discover that FUK was originally called CHAN WAI-KEUNG and that after the deaths of his wife and son, he meant to give himself a new name in order to help forget the trauma. After returning to the police station, TUNG asks MARY to probe into FUK’s backgrounds. FUK is almost struck by a falling object, which makes TUNG feel the need to put him under 24-hour police protection. The druggie CHAN WAI-KEUNG manages to escape from the police station. As an emergency measure, TUNG asks BUT to protect FUK. Without rhyme or reason, TUNG deliberately boasts about BUT’s past achievements in front of FUK. JIM and WAI go to buy a pack of cakes for FUK’s mother-in-law.… ...
