BETTY promises to compensate the hawkers for the loss and damage caused by the fight but HOI insists he is the one to be responsible for the terrible mess. TUNG acts as a witness to their covenant. TUNG learns from HOI his relationship with BETTY while WAI also becomes aware of how BETTY fell in love with TUNG’s father when they were young. HOI flies into a fury when he knows that CHING has not given money to FONG, thus leaving her unable to hire a lawyer for KIN. Burning with anger, he is about to bash CHING up but once again is stopped by BETTY in time.
