Eventually, MING-YEUNG asks YUET-KAN to appear in court on his behalf. YUET-KAN raises some evidence to prove that the pair have got married, yet is refuted by YING-WAI. After summoning NGA-LAI, YING-WAI continuously doubts the relationship between her and LAI-YU. On top of that, he even reveals the relationship between her and MING-YEUNG, putting YUET-KAN at a distinct disadvantage. YUET-KAN, MING-YEUNG and NGA-LAI invite YING-WAI to meet them at LAI-YU's former residence, where they request YING-WAI to let NGA-LAI take the memoirs of the late LAI-YU. Having read the memoirs, YUET-KAN decides to appeal. Once again in the court room, YUET-KAN not only summons the late LAI-YU's three children, but also asks NGA-LAI to testify as well as revealing the memoirs. According to the memoirs, it is clear that the late LAI-YU experienced feelings of loneliness……
